The PT-EZ590E series projector is capable of producing bright and clear images even when projecting in rooms with high ambient light levels. Text is legible and crisp, while graphics and video retain consistent color saturation and high contrast levels.
To achieve an impressive contrast ratio of 10,000:1* without sacrificing brightness, the lens's dynamic iris employs a frame-linked aperture mechanism. This will achieve deeper and richer dark colors for a more realistic and immersive picture.
Panasonic's Daylight View Basic technology ensures that images are clear and enjoyable to view with enhanced detail, especially in dark areas of the image that are normally difficult to see in a brightly lit room. A built-in sensor measures the ambient light level, while Daylight View Basic adjusts the color bitmap and brightness based on the light level.
This function corrects slight variations in the color range of individual devices configured for multi-screen projection, particularly when using the Side-by-side configuration.
If dust gets into the optical unit, the brightness of the projector will decrease. The PT-EZ590E series projector is dust-proof with a one-way airflow design, sealed optical unit, air inlet and Eco filter.
Long lamp replacement intervals (up to 5,000 hours*) reduce operating and maintenance costs, and reduce wear and tear by extending the lamp cycle between maintenance sessions.
The Eco filter is equipped with an electrostatic microfilter that attracts the smallest dust particles thanks to the electrostatic effect. Paired with a dust-proof housing, it ensures long-lasting performance even in harsh environments. Long maintenance cycle (up to 15,000 hours*1) reduces potential problems. The environmentally friendly filter*2 can be reused.
Press the "ECO" button on the remote control to set the environmental management functions, including automatic dimming when the ambient light is dim and reducing power consumption when there is no input signal.
DIGITAL LINK technology supports the transmission of uncompressed video, audio*1, and control commands over a single STP cable of CAT 5e or higher, up to 150 meters*2. An optional DIGITAL LINK switch or digital coupler simplifies installation, reduces cabling and associated costs, and improves reliability.
The mechanical horizontal/vertical lens shift operates over a wide range and makes installation incredibly convenient and free. Also, using the remote control is very easy to change the focal length and focus.
Now you can project wirelessly via PC using the Presenter Light software or the Wireless Projector app for iOS. Just plug the optional ET-WML100 wireless module into the projector's USB port.

For simplicity, the filter is replaced on the side and the lamp on top of the projector. For periodic maintenance, it is not necessary to remove the device from the ceiling mount.
Choose from a range of optional zoom lenses for your system. Optional lenses make it easier to adapt the projector to the installation location. Lenses are inserted and removed with one touch.
The Early Warning software monitors the status of projectors and displays connected to the intranet and informs the operator when abnormalities are detected or suspected, or when there are signs of problems. This allows you to minimize downtime and, as a result, provide more stable operation.
