Panasonic Introduces Camcorders: HC-VX3 and HC-V900

However, the HC-VX3 has impressive video capabilities. It has a Type 1/2.5 BSI CMOS sensor with a resolution of 8.57 MP, a bright f/1.8 lens with a 24x optical zoom of 4.12–98.9 mm (25–600 mm equivalent), and can shoot 4K video at up to 60p.

The HC-VX3 features “high-precision AF,” 5-axis hybrid optical stabilization, and a large 3” touchscreen.

As for the HC-V900, it also has a Type 1/2.5 BSI CMOS sensor, but it only shoots 2K. The lens also has a 24x zoom and is also bright – f/1.8. There is also 5-axis hybrid stabilization and a 3-inch touchscreen. Both cameras are lightweight and compact, have zoom microphones with windscreens, and a USB-C port. The VX3 has a line-in port and time-stamping capability. The cheaper V900 lacks time-stamping capability and uses a standard microphone port rather than line-in.
