A large 4/3-inch sensor and a bright F1.7-2.8 LEICA DC lens allow you to take amazing pictures. Analog style controls provide simple and convenient operation. Advanced 4K technology helps you create stunning photos and videos. And all this is concentrated in a compact and lightweight body that does not restrict your movements. Introducing the LUMIX LX100 II.
The LUMIX LX100 II's 4/3-inch MOS sensor has 1.6 times the image area of the 1-inch sensor* and offers wide dynamic range and low noise. This allows you to achieve excellent results when working at high ISO values. By increasing the number of megapixels to 17MP** and eliminating the low-pass filter, the sensor and lens are more efficient than ever, delivering incredible image resolution.
The Venus Engine gives the LUMIX LX100 II ultra-high resolution to recreate the subject with incredible contrast, vibrant colors and realistic textures. With no low-pass filter, the camera's design minimizes the chance of moiré or color mismatch. As a result, the sensor allows you to create images of breathtaking quality.
DFD (Depth From Defocus) technology allows you to instantly calculate the distance to the subject by analyzing two images with different levels of sharpness. This enables fast autofocus and 5.5 fps continuous shooting in AFC mode to capture even the most fleeting moments. Shooting at 11 fps in AFS mode is also possible.
The built-in LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMILUX lens on the LUMIX LX100 II has an aperture of F1.7 at wide angle and F2.8 at telephoto, giving it natural bokeh and the ability to shoot at low shutter speeds in low light. A wide range of focal lengths allows you to take a variety of shots, from wide-angle dynamic landscapes at a focal length of 24mm to vivid portraits at an average telephoto of 75mm*. Together, the lens and large sensor deliver outstanding image quality, and the LUMIX LX100 II's compact body makes it easy to carry and use.
One of the advantages of using a camera with a built-in lens is the ability to take pictures from very close range. The LUMIX LX100 II allows you to take macro shots as close as 3cm at wide angle and 30cm at telephoto. When shooting flowers, plants and more, you'll be able to see details and nuances in your shots that the naked eye can't see.
The aperture control ring is located under the left hand, the shutter speed control ring is under the right. When you point the camera and look into the viewfinder, your right hand naturally rests on the exposure compensation dial. The LUMIX LX100 II's camera interface seems to read your intentions every time you're about to take a picture, making shooting easier and more enjoyable.
In addition, you can select the function of the control ring on the lens: it can be responsible for zoom or focus. Its use for focusing allows you to achieve smooth and precise control when working in manual focus mode.
The LVF (Live View Finder) is your reliable ally when you need to concentrate on the shooting process. It measures 0.38 inches and has a resolution equivalent to 2760k dots at 0.7x magnification (35mm camera equiv.). Capturing the finest details of scenes captured with the sensor and lens, the LVF viewfinder allows you to fully immerse yourself in the shot.
The LUMIX LX100 II has a 3-inch screen with a resolution of approximately 1240k dots and supports touch control. In addition to touch controls for autofocus and shutter release, it also lets you zoom in and out with two fingers, and scroll through 4K PHOTO shots with a swipe to quickly find the best one. Much like using a smartphone screen, this interface is a modern and intuitive way to control a digital camera.
The gleaming black body of the LUMIX LX100 II begs you to pick up the camera, take a picture, and take it with you at all times. The handle is made of high-quality leather-like material, and the overall look of the camera is reminiscent of classic cameras, emphasizing the creators' attention to detail.
As a leader in 4K technology, Panasonic has been able to integrate 4K shooting capabilities into a very compact body. This allows you to capture precious memories in movies at 3840 x 2160 pixels - 4 times more than when shooting in Full HD quality.
The Sequence Composition feature opens up new creative possibilities for 4K PHOTO. You will be able to create unique images composed of multiple images taken in 4K PHOTO mode.
