The Panasonic DMW-XLR2 supports advanced 32-bit float recording, significantly enhancing audio quality and simplifying workflow. With its wide dynamic range, this format captures both the quietest and the loudest sounds without quality loss. Using this adapter, you no longer need to manually adjust sound levels during recording. Video and audio tracks are saved in a single file, making post-production faster and more efficient.
High-Quality Stereo Sound and Flexible Connectivity
With the Panasonic DMW-XLR2 adapter, you can connect professional XLR microphones and record studio-quality stereo sound. Recording in MOV or ProRes formats provides high-resolution audio and supports 4-channel recording. The device is also compatible with an external power supply for extended sessions.
Note: The LUMIX GH6 (DC-GH6) does not support float recording and 4-channel mode when only one microphone is connected. LUMIX S5II / S5IIX / G9II cameras also limit 32-bit float recording when a single microphone is used. This should be considered during professional shooting.
