Panasonic's unique nanoe™X technology
nanoe™X are the smallest (5–20 nm) slightly acidic water particles with the ability to react, as well as an electric charge. The nanoe™X technology device generates -OH hydroxyl radicals in a shell of water that effectively inhibit viruses, bacteria, odors and allergens. The effectiveness of neutralizing viruses and bacteria depends on the amount of OH radicals. The more -OH radicals, the more effectively viruses are suppressed. The device generates 4.8 trillion nanoe™X particles per second.

Operating principle
The nanoe™X particles capture the virus. The OH radicals then take away the hydrogen (H) from it, causing the radical to turn into water and deactivating the virus.
